Intervention for Juvenile Offenders
The
Community Intervention Services Program for Juvenile Offenders Program helps
reduce the number of youths committed to institutions by
allowing them to remain in their community under intensive
supervision with alcohol and drug treatment, community service
work, family and individual counseling, education and employment
assistance. Funded by the TN Dept. of Children’s Services.
Serves Clay, Cumberland, DeKalb, Fentress, Jackson, Macon,
Overton, Pickett, Smith, Van Buren, Warren, and White Counties.

Adult
Community Corrections Program
provides an alternative to incarceration for non-violent felony
offenders
sentenced
by Criminal Court Judges. Funded by the TN Department of
Correction, this program serves 13th, 15th, and 31st districts Judicial districts. (Fentress,
Macon, Smith, Wilson, and Trousdale Counties excluded).
DUI
School
The
DUI School provides education about drug and alcohol use and
provides state mandated requirements for
license
renewal,
while serving the courts and the community. Services provided
are
Level I. Classes are held at the Macon County Career Center. Serves all 14 counties.
