Adult Community Corrections

Adult Community Corrections Program provides an alternative to incarceration for non-violent felony offenders sentenced by Criminal Court Judges. Funded by the TN Department of Correction, this program serves the 13th, 15th, and 31st Judicial districts. (Fentress, Macon, Smith, Wilson, and Trousdale Counties excluded).


Community Intervention for Juvenile Offenders

The Community Intervention Services Program for Juvenile Offenders helps reduce the number of youths committed to institutions by allowing them to remain in their community under intensive supervision with alcohol and drug treatment, community service work, family and individual counseling, education and employment assistance. Funded by the TN Dept. of Children's Services. Serves Clay, Cumberland, DeKalb, Fentress, Jackson, Macon, Overton, Pickett, Smith, and Warren Counties.


DUI School

The DUI School provides education about drug and alcohol use and provides state mandated requirements for license renewal, while serving the courts and the community. Services provided are Level I. Currently, classes are held in Putnam and Smith Counties. For more information and class schedules, please call UCHRA central office at (931) 528-1127.

Putnam County Juvenile Drug Court

A program within the Juvenile Court system to which selected delinquency cases, and in some instances status offenders, are referred for handling by a designated judge.  The youth referred to are identified as having problems with alcohol and/or other drugs.   It is a court managed intensive treatment program, combining frequent court appearances with aggressive drug treatment and/or mental health services.
